What to expect when coming to fpc
When you pull into the FPC campus, you will be met by a parking lot attendant who can guide you through the property. Once you park, enter the main entrance of the Family Center (brick building in the front). If you are dropping someone off, you will do so at the Worship Center entrance (larger building in back). Wherever you enter, you will be greeted by a member of our First Impressions team who is ready assist you with any questions or concerns you may have. Wednesdays @ 6:30PM
What is the service format?
*We meet for prayer 30 minutes before every service
Sunday Format:
There is an educational hour from 10-10:45 . We have three separate classes for ages 3-18 as well as a discipleship class. Everyone else meets in the Worship Center for teaching/preaching. At 10:45 there is a 15 minute intermission, during which parents pick up their children from classes. At 11:00, everyone gathers in the Worship Center for a time of worship and preaching.
Midweek Format:
Service begins with focused prayer and a short devotion at 6:25. At 6:30 we have a time of praise and worship, followed by teaching.
What should I wear?
Wear what you are comfortable in. You will see a mixture of dress and casual clothes at all services.
Will I be bored?
With an enthusiastic style of preaching and worship, services at FPC are far from boring.
Will I be required to give an offering?
No. There will be an opportunity to give during service, but there is absolutely no obligation to participate.
Can I give online?
Yes you can. In addition to in-person giving during services, you can also donate through our website or the Church Center app. There will be also QR codes displayed during announcements, making it very easy to give online.
Do you have a place for my kids?
There is a place for everyone at FPC. We have classes for ages 3-18 on Sunday mornings from 10:00-10:45.
What is worship like?
We have a blend of contemporary and traditional church music, but the overall tone you'll find is one of celebration, freedom, and joy. We hold nothing back in worship to God. You will see people clapping their hands, raising their voice, and sometimes leaping for joy.
How long are services?
Sunday services are typically around 2 hours total. Midweek is around 60-70 minutes.
